Please be advised that Wednesday, November 30, 2005 marked the end of the 2005 tax year for BPS brokerage payments. Clearing firms still have the ability to make Tax adjustments in the Brokerage Payment System (BPS) for 2005 brokerage activity. Please be aware that when adding these adjustments in BPS, users must use a processing date prior to Thursday, December 1, 2005. This will ensure these adjustments are factored into the 2005 tax processing year for brokerage payments. Please reference the BPS schedule (CH-Advisory 05-277) for important dates and deadlines regarding 2005 BPS Tax Processing. Thank you.
